Calculated from the laser measured line-of-sight distance, incline or decline, trajectory of the ball, current temperature, and specific altitude, TGR displays the adjusted range to play.
For example, if you have a lie 150 yards from the pin, but the green falls 6 degrees above your ball, advanced TGR algorithms automatically account for each factor, indicating you should play the shot as if it were 164 yards.
When activated, the Club Selector function of the GX-2 and GX-4 takes TGR a step further. Factoring your specific striking distance and TGR to the target, the Club Selector automatically recommends the appropriate club for each shot, even indicating when the distance falls between clubs.
